About me

I'm a freelance web developer and entrepreneur based in southern Oregon, USA. I've worked from a home office for more than 7 years now. I specialize in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery and a few other solutions. I'm an out of the box thinker. I'm very good at spinning new ideas.

I support my continued entrepreneurial activities by developing, fixing or maintaining web sites and apps. My main goals revolve around travel and eventual retirement.

Things I can do

• Debugging/repairing issues with sites based on popular open source and commercial solutions including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, osCommerce, Magento and more. I'm familiar with many of the popular CMS, e-commerce and social networking solutions.
• Simple site design using all solutions above.
• Solutions based on Code Igniter or built from scratch in PHP/MySQL.
• Custom plugins/modules/components for WordPress, Joomla or Drupal.
• PSD to HTML or theme/template for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or osCommerce.
• JS/jQuery based calculators, forms, effects etc etc.

• Mockup to WordPress network site with a main site and 2 daughter sites. Mockup was implemented within the Canvas framework.
• CSS adjustments and fixes to several sites.
• WordPress network feature additions. Consisted of methods for sharing content from the primary blog with all daughter sites. Network of 25+ sites and growing. Implemented in the Genesis framework with Agentpress.
• jQuery calculator for financial/investment math.
• PSD to WordPress theme.
• WordPress site move to new domain/server.
• Various debugging and maintence on WordPress sites.
